Wow. Chuck, hate to hijack your thread, but....
if someone buys that block, I have the PERFECT pistons and rods for it. Flawless LT1 standard pistons and pink rods out of a very low mileage engine. Did not even need a ridge reamer to pop the pistons out with the palm of my hand. Bearings were all dated Sept of 69, so I know it had never been apart before. I was planning to use the 1182 Std. Std. crank (and it does NOT need to be turned or polished), but could be talked out of the whole rotating assy for the right money. Purchaser would not even need to balance it. Would you kindly point them in my direction if you get a buyer? Rods with pistons: $800 Add the Standard Crank: $400 Can post pics if requested. Mods: if I am violating some rule, please delete and let me know.
