Default My (not so supercar) 68 Nova

Hello everyone,
Just thought I would share some pictures of my not so supercar 68 Nova. I will share more about the car as I proceed with building it as a weekend beater, nothing more nothing less. Just a car to have fun with. I will share more about why I bought this car and why I love it so (lol) in future posts.
Enjoy, huero.

Shortly after I towed it home.

307/3-speed on the column, drum brakes.

swapped out the rims for some rallys

Good bye 307 and 3 speed. Hello 350 and 4 speed.

Score!

I think they seller said they are out of a chevelle.
They will suite me fine over the bench seat.

My first car was a 70 Chevy Nova. I got my Dad to lend me some $$$$ to buy it. I worked weekends cleaning poo at a pet shop to pay Dad back. It was my very first car and I was a senior in high school. I learned to drive in that car. It had a 307/th350 and disc brakes. I had rallys on it and 8" corvette rallys in the back. I thought I was so cool. Of course, the backspacing was horrible, lol. I missed it so much I bought this one a year and a half ago and just really started to get into it now. It's been about 18 years since I sold my 70. I wish I never sold it but, this one I think I am liking more.

Radio Delete car. Love it!

Sadly, the car was a barn find from Northern California. I know it was a barn find from all the rodent traces I found all over the car. The interior could not be saved from the stench. I was bummed but, I kind knew that might happen. Oh well.

As an 80's kid (when I was in highschool) I am torn between doing a 80's build or more of a late 60's early 70's day 2 build. That is still up in the air.

Here is a pic riding in my hero Joe C's bad ass 69 Nova SS. I love his car. A reason I sought a 68-69 Nova.

Joe is the coolest!
