I had my Camaro in the shop last fall for some much-needed attention and it included a suspension rebuild with new, lower springs. Lower and meaner, even for a stocker. (Gardner 'deep-tone' SS396 system went on too--look at those perfectly done oval tailpipes peeking down under the rear quarters.)
