Tenney's 64 Wangers GTO...

My first car was a Burgundy 64 GTO 4 speed hardtop I bought from a high school friend. $125.00. I was stoked when I finally went to pick it up. It ran but had a spun bearing. There was an old guy that worked as a mechanic at the gas station up the street from my parents house that had a 65 Tri-power and he helped me, actually, I helped him install a 67 400. Drove it for awhile and got into too much trouble with it growing up in Atlanta and my dad took it to work one day where he managed a business that shredded cars and that was that. My flavor is Chevy, but owning that 64 GTO opened my eyes to all hotrods and factory muscle 60's and 70's. That Jim Wangers car has always left a mark on me. What a nice piece of musclecar history.
