Looking for some help ID ing the set up…looks like Z-16, was it used on any other cars? or years? Mount bracket looks almost homemade?

It is also used on the '66 and '67 396 Chevelles and '68 thru '72 Chevy trucks. I'm pretty sure the bracket was fabricated. The cap is the style I've seen on the Z16 but other caps were used later on. Clint
