For 1968 most Shelby's were non Trac Lok including the pre KR 500 cars. Crazy to think the 3.89 was an open carrier. Notice how the KR never even offered a high axle ratio yet was the Trac Lok. If you wanted to go fast Mustang had the gear options not the Shelby.
