Default ZL1 heads

Not 1969 casting dates, they are later vintage (no dates usually means early 70s I think). Has the standard ZL1 casting number though. I thought they were fine for my 69 ZL1 yenko motor, but decided to leave the non oem heads on that engine.

They have valves and springs in them.

I can post pictures if someone is interested. It looks like they were rebuilt and ready to go, but sat for too long, so they would need to be gone through again and checked out. Assume a rebuild.

$2500 or best fair offer.

C port heads from the 80's. Had a set on a blown L88. These are Engine Prototype Developement heads, Larry Olsen. The top Pro Stock cylinder head shop in the country during the eighties. The was a time in Pro Stock that more qualifier's had EPD heads than not, at any given National event. Never had any reliability issues with mine. Port work cost WAY more than what your asking for the heads.

Thanks! So the heads you speak of had the 69 ZL1 casting code like these still? These don't have any dates though, so I figured they came from the mid 70s. Glad to know they are stable heads.

077 heads are the D port heads. 074s are round port. I bet there is evidence of raising the floor of the exhaust port with welding them porting. Nice heads.

Friend of mine looking for open chamber aluminum BBC heads, are these open chamber?

Would 077's be the best choice. Will use on his 1966 427 425 Vette.
