Default Yenko valve covers

Picked these up today. Got them from a guy who's had them since the 1980's. I've never seen a set. Catalog covers? These are cast this way. No sticker or emblems.

Sorry to say, but I don't believe those are from the 80's. They are repros they've been making for a few years now, as seen here...

Repro Yenko "Ansen" Valve Covers

Looks like someone used them for a bit, but I don't believe they date to the 80's nor are they anything Yenko ever offered.

I agree with joe
there are a bunch of fake Yenko valve covers out there

Yenko did have a tall stamped steel v c sold in chrome or unpainted steel

someone even tried to fake them using a cheep valve cover

this looks like the correct v c

I can't find these for sale anywhere. The one set was on eBay that Joe posted. I can't find any for sale anywhere else. Even on google.

Search completed auctions... There have been many sets sold. In fact 2 of the first 3 listings that come up are these same covers. A place called performanceusa310 has sold numerous sets and have a whole bunch of other similar designs too. They're made up covers, nothing Yenko ever had produced or sold.

The only cast aluminum Yenko valve cover, I'm aware of, is for the 4 banger Vega.

Lot's of people out there making $$ off the Yenko name...... 99.9% of it has no ties back to Yenko.
