Default 66 67 Nova 327 CE Replacement Short Block w/pan

Selling a 327 CE short block with the Chevy II oil pan on it. Just came out of a running car recently. The casting number is 3959538 and it has the recessed oil filter boss. It is a recent .060 over bore with forged pistons in it, steel crank, and ChevyII oil pick up, pan, and dipstick. Could be freshened up and ran. Price is 900 plus shipping obo. I will crate and deliver to a terminal of your choice. Larry 520-349-2337

Flat top pistons. That would be a 275 hp engine, wouldn´t it ?

Hello, there flat top now since its a fresh .060 over. Who knows what it had when sold or installed. I've looked in older Chevrolet Performance books and haven't seen any info on how this engine was sold. Maybe someone else has the answer. Thanks, Larry

Never seen a 538 Nova block with recessed oil filter...721 or a 362 is 327 Nova block. 65-67

How fresh is this? Looks many years ago by the rust on the block.

Hello, sorry my reference of fresh doesn't mean time wise like a recent rebuild I meant the amount of wear in the cylinders. There is virtually none. It has been out of the car (67) for a year and in storage. The heads were just removed. My understanding is the 538 was warranty or over the counter only. Thanks, Larry
