Default 70 yenko nova

Hi I'm intersted in the 70 yank nova on eBay right now, does anyone here know the car and if it's real like it says? I tried searching about the car here but didn't see any links/posts about it which raised my suspicion? Thanks for any guidance,Jim

Thanks!! Although the pics link you posted doesn't work for me? So the whole drive train is not original/numbers matching? I asked him that and he said it was? Jim

None of the drive line is original to the car. It is a nice car. Would show well in a non judged show, and drove well when I last knew.

This car has some real good stories from it's time in AR.

The claim of original drivetrain is not true!

Use to own that car. I believe it was the first Yenko Schoney restored? Anyway, was extremely solid body. Drivetrain was non original, however it was as correct as it could be replacement-wise. Dates were perfect. I remember getting an original shifter from a former site member here. Was a great car. Was sold without a hood tach new because on the delivery truck a chain was hanging and beat up the top side of car. There are pictures of the car on the net somewhere and probably on this site. Under google type in Cliff Peck Deuce and something will pop up. I learned to never ever put air shocks and big tires on a nova because of that car. Drove like a brick. Head hit the roof every bump. I had Schoney do it day 2 style for me. Cool looking car, but terrible to drive. Switched rear tires right away. Dave

Actually I think that was the 3rd of 4th deuce we did. The motor is as close as you could get to right. It's a Corvette LT/1 with a almost dead on cast date.

Those pics might have both this car, and mine together. Both Cliff Peck sold.

That's them! Ken, you should know! I knew it was early on. There is also pics of it in day 2 form if you type in cliff peck deuce in google and click images. If you look real close there are outword dents in the roof on the driver side from the stiff suspension. Dave
