Here is the cover page - PSMCDR - Carl Straub's 70 4-4-2 W30. I wasn't able to make it to the races that day. But after the race I bumped into Carl at a gas station near our house with my 19 year old son. The car sounded great and we talked with Carl for awhile... he looked tired!

According to the article Carl's car ran a best of 13.39 @ 103.18mph.

Thanks for the compliments. Carl and I own that car together. It runs pretty strong for how heavy it is, we put a 3.90 gear in it and Pipes exhaust this year and it picked up 4 mph and a half second. It is an automatic A/C car so it's a little heavy. Sure had a good time there as always. We have brought cars to the PSMCDR for the past 19 years, And making the cover of hemmings is icing on the cake. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/burnout.gif[/img]
