Was a washer used between the TCS stud and the power brake pipe stud and the aluminum intake manifold ?My Nova /Chevy II assembly manual for a 1970 L78 does not show a flat washer was used .Is this correct? Thanks Bob

Bob,
No washer between stud and intake. Lock washer and nut to hold both tcs and brake tube to the studs. Both of those studs used a flanged nut design on the stud so no washer needed. Even the passenger side front location stud for the alternator brace which is a short hex no shoulder style nut does not use a washer to the intake. Chris |
