Disc Brake conversion 69 Camaro
Wanting some thoughts on converting a original 69 Camaro RS convertible.
It has power drum brakes wanting to change to stock original disc brakes. Has a 10 bolt multi leaf, thinking to change to a stock original 12 bolt. I like numbers matching so would be as close to original as possible. The car is stock and original (besides color change) but no paper work. Thanks |

Adding disc brakes makes your car more reliable and comfortable to drive, plus not being a trailer queen makes the conversion a no brainer IMO.
If it makes you feel better, I happen to be adding disc brakes and power steering to a RAII firebird dealer race car.

I have some rebuilt disc brake booster / MC combos
Rebuilt and ready to go- for 69 Camaro but not numbers matching- cheap I have calipers and dust shields as well I also have all numbers matching original assembly line pieces but it’s not worth the extra cost for what you are doing and 90% of the public would never see or know the difference Text me for Picts if interested Fred 610-585-4155
