Then it was indeed shaved down on the assembly line back in 1970,to fit the heavy duty 4 row radiator that Air Conditioned cars got back then.
Because the Heavy Duty/4 row shroud wasn't made yet,so they had to modify them during assembly on the line. |

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about. Where is the "shaved down" area that needed modified for a 4-row rad?
