Great research, Congrats.
As a teaser: I had a strange hunch John could not scratch his itch with the 68Z & a 67 would be just the ticket. Good Job sir. Wow Jim W

The former owner John who sent me the other pics has a bunch of pictures of the car both prior, during, and after the restoration. Here is a picture of the interior before repair and several pics of the tunnel section that he cut and and kept as a memento. He had this to say about the tunnel... "Might be hard to tell from the pictures but the original sheet metal definitely had something hit it hard." He says he just cut out and replaced the tunnel areas that needed repairs but the main floor was in good shape and was saved.

Thanks, Tim. With the help of John, a former owner, I've got it tracked back to C&C Motors in Trenton, GA back in 1990. Trenton is in the upper LH corner of Georgia, not far away from Chattanooga, TN. The car is supposed to have been black at that time with the tilt front end and side pipes.

Cool find Jon, and very smart of you to have run the NCRS on it. I did that once on a car I was interested in, and I have a sneaky suspicion that you will start seeing a lot more of that being done now that you have found a winner and put the facts out there.
I also like that you know so much about these 67's and had already known so much of the story by talking with Ollie Volpe and others about the cars and how they were raced, owned, and wrenched on. This car landed with the right person for sure! Thanks for sharing and good luck with everything going forward. Very cool!!!

Thanks for the compliment, Graeme. You've done a great job on the research and restoration of your car and I look forward to seeing it completed. So many great cars, car stories, and people on this website.
