NOS convertible quarters are scarce and valuable. William is right that separating the NOS stuff from the car will probably net more money to your uncle's pocket. But if the car needs full quarters, instead of just patch panels, the car would probably sell faster with the quarters included. Or maybe sell the car by itself, and give the seller first right on the parts.
