If you ever drove a Corvair, I believe you would soon get bored with it. The sound of steel balls, rattling around in a tin can way behind you and the lack of power, are very different from what we are used to with muscle cars. The 4 carb, 140 did OK in that light car, but it lacked the punch and SOUND of a V8. I owned 2, 6-7 years ago, when I "thought" I needed a convertible. 1965 Monza 140 and a 1966 Corsa. They didn't stay around more than couple years and I was back looking for the '62 Impala SS I bought after I sold the Corvairs.
