The Corvair is stock 9413. The highest VIN for a 69 Corvair is 6000, So they did not use the VIN on it for the stock number

While I will not say that someone didn't do it that way, it would not be a common practice for a New Car/ Mutli line dealer to use the vehicle VIN or part of as a stock number.

Interesting how they list the auto trans cars as "Turbo-Hyd" or "Turbo-Hydramatic" including a 375hp Nova
Then on the auto trans 427 Camaros and Chevelles the list them as "Hurst Duel Gate" |
