I actually like EV’s on a number of levels, but not sure THAT car was the one to do. (Though it was pretty bastardized over the last 15 years) |

Weak...
Poor old Project would now get its ass handed back to itself from a tesla. Or a tuner car. LOL

Uncle Tony said it best. Yes, it was always meant to evolve, in a budget friendly, if a little high end, way.
Everybody knows the car peaked in the Hollywood Knights incarnation. It was on the path back to greatness with Hot Rod Garage putting 15s and a blower back on it. Now, it's, as I stole from Facebook (or maybe Instagram, hell, I can't remember) and then posted in another thread, it's now Project Xcrement. What really makes me laugh is I heard it's 340hp or something. It made 550 TO THE TIRE with the blown LS they took out. So it's slower, no sound, no excitement. Oh, and if anyone's wondering; No, us Gen Z'ers don't like it either.

I completely understand that Project X has always been used as an experimental vehicle with many, many changes over the years, but this one feels different to me. IMHO, it feels like GM is pushing the EV thing HARD, and this was a way to get something that would be seen by a lot of car people, but it feels forced and sort of artificial. Why not instead of the EV motor, would they not have put in the new ZZ632/1000 crate engine? To me, that is way more in line with the history and theme of Project X.
