I am only assuming John bought the car to race and have fun with. That being said, the car still retains its original tires from day one with very little tire wear.
Those tire would have been bald in for first week if it were me. Talking with John, he always knew the car was special. I think he treated the car accordingly. Because John had the insight, we are all now able to benefit from this time capsule! |

I know the car had camera's all over it for the weekend. Is there anyone who is going to make the detail pics available as resource?
Certainly the car is a benchmark for originality and authenticity (to say nothing for being so damn cool). It would be an ongoing benefit to the hobby if the details were accessible IMO. Well done Doug! |
