Fantastic, well optioned '66 GTO Hardtop with a few questionable add-ons by the original owner. I dig this car!

Wow, they almost needed a second window sticker with all those options! What a well preserved car, easy to see why you like it Grant!

Very cool ‘66 GTO with some odd day 2 stuff.
Only 1759 units built (360HP / Automatic) in 1966. This one still has all its factory Vacuum linkage, which is a rare site these days. An option you never see is the Vacuum trunk release located in the glove box. Plus Red Fender Liners. This car deserves another caring ownership. I’d ditch those 1965 custom wheel disc and install the ‘66 custom disc.

Just an observation: body cowl tag is 05A (first week of May) in Kansas City, they were picking up the car in Colorado Springs on May 13th.
Things happened fast back then. K

Very cool time capsule...and it certainly has all the options.
Must be a little sad though having all that go power mated to a two speed tranny ![]() Does anyone know first hand how it is to drive a tri-power with the automatic?? Beautiful car... ![]()

I could imagine punching it from about 30 - 35 mph where it would kick down into low gear and all 6 barrels would be open.....that would probably be a handful.
