Are these era correct plates? What is the year of manufacturing? Danny

My understanding is they were used on dealer showroom cars to advertise the vehicle’s year. There are no markings, heavy gauge steel and obviously “old”. I have seen 67 and 69 plates as well. Appears as if there were only a few color combos (white/blue, blue/white, white/red, red/white).
