These cars scarred me at an early age. One of my best friends (older brother) had bought Bob Lambeck's LO23 when I as about 14-15 YO. They campaigned the car for a few years, and then moved to an old pro stock Arrow. The offered the car to me, and would help me put together a motor for it. Mind you, I am 18 at this time and still living at home.

As you can imagine, the conversation with my Dad started out like........."there is no F'n way you are buying a car like that while living under my roof"

I showed the car to my Dad when it was shown at MCACN (I suspect around 2016?) He looked it ALL over, and proceeded to buy me a beer. Probably hoping I shut up

The 2nd pic is when Quaden's had it, the last is when it was a MCACN

Good photos! Notice how the front tires are sitting just a hair too far forward in the front wheelwells?

The car had a set of hand-made altered wheelbase front spindles (in my photos above) that effectively set the engine back by an inch by moving the wheels forward an inch.

Very tricky cheating!

They didn't move the engine...not cheating...
