Transmission Tag
I was playing around in the shop tonight and I came across this tag with 545770. Can anybody identify it?

I believe it's off a Muncie 4 speed transmission. Which one (application) I have no idea

I think you are correct, just trying to find out what type of Muncie and the year?

It doesn't seem to have enough numbers or correct numerical sequence to be from a Muncie 4 speed, unless it is older than the info I am finding from '67 up.

Found this older thread that, although proven to have some errors, indicates your tag isn't from a Muncie.
https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=98292 Just running searches on the number isn't turning up anything useful yet.

That could be from a rear end. I think Dana rear ends had similar tags. I've seen one of those before, but can't remember where.
