Exactly, Tonawanda Oct. 11 w/ YQ 2-digit suffix = pre ‘70 application. YQ = ‘69 Truck 396/310 M40 as noted above, any VIN stamping/Year digit? ![]() ~ Pete .

I don't know that vin stamping on the trucks was ever a concern ? I have a '69 truck 396 in my '70 Chevelle and I don't recall seeing a vin stamp.
