Default 1970 z28 wheels

Did they have the round or oval valve stem hole?

Thanks,
Dan

Depends on the year Dan. Early ones had the small oval, next few years had the bigger oval, then the round holes came out.

1970 was 5/8" oval. The only year with 5/8" opening. Went to 13/16 oval opening the very next year when the 5 spoke wheel was shared with the Chevelle and El Camino. The early 5/8" wheels are a little more expensive and difficult to find.
