I should clarify that I was not bashing- he has been extremely polite in interactions and is putting together a long list of correct fasteners for me that would have been extremely time consuming to source and/or plate and or restore myself. I can certainly understand that takes time.
It’s just the “a few more weeks” then a “few more weeks” that’s making it hard… then many months have gone by when the parts are needed for the restoration to keep progressing. Just knowing it would be 20+ weeks to get them would have been helpful up front for planning purposes. There was a question on why we chose to purchase… In my case it was by recommendation of some members here, hard to find stuff in a “one stop shop” that you know will be correct for the car. |
