Just curiosity.

I know 512 427-454 blocks had the clearance notch for 7/16" rod bolts.

How did you get them to clear on your block?

Dave this short block was built by a previous owner and I didn't notice any clearance had been done and being only a 3.76 stroke, I doubt it's needed until a 4.00" stroke is installed
