Default 1968 Sebring Race

This was the first year the Trans Am class participated. The Camaro Z28 came in 1st & 2nd in class and 3rd & 4th overall. Great racing with Porsche, GT40, Corvette, Lola T70 & Turbin ..... Chris Economaki was amazing interviewer and his interviews with Roger Penske and Mark Donohue are very insightful and priceless.

When someone asks why Camaro Z28s are so popular and valuable even though they produced over 20,000... for me the answer is simple, it's their dominate/sucessful racing history of the first generation cars.

12 hour Sebring race is this weekend. I drove past the track last night and the infield looks like a party zone. People set up walls that look like the front of a saloon. This is the first time I have been here while it goes on and figure we can hear it from the house I may have to drive by tomorrow!
