I think the biggest draw into the Day 2 scene is the ability to run $100 swap-meet headers, a $200 vintage carb, a $50 distributor, etc and still be "correct" without needing a $2500 set of smog equipment, a $2000 carb, or a $1500 distributor...

...also, the cars look super cool.
