Anyone know how long it takes from submission to approval or denial for getting your car listed on BAT?

Mark, I believe that the "no reserve" auctions move quicker for obvious reasons. I waited about two weeks.

The timeline can vary and that has to do with volume of submissions. As a relates to a submission, usually you get an initial email with a suggested reserve price if that’s what you’ve requested if it’s no reserve, as stated above, it gets ready fairly quickly. As a note, you can negotiate the reserve, but they can be very difficult at times and not budge. This has to do with what might be hot at the time in terms of your ability to negotiate. Also know, that if you agree on a reserve price and your car comes up short on its final bid, they will make up the difference at times to sell the car. This is why I try real hard to negotiate and even use, recent comps to prove my point.

Thanks for the information. I just posted it up for sale on here, so I guess we'll see how that goes before I list it on BAT.

VERY cool car, Mark, and, I feel, very reasonably priced. Might take a special person to appreciate it, especially the wild, period, paint job, but it's in the right place to attract that person. The work it took to wrap that multi-color band around the entire car is wild. Surprised it doesn't have shag carpet and headliner with velour seats..
You have something new to take it's place ? Seems you just went thru all the work and expense to add the blower...

Thanks, Mitch. Yeah, it definitely isn't for everyone, but it just fits me, and hopefully it fits someone else as well. Well, we're getting ready to build a new house so it's time to go I guess, and I am requesting that whoever buys it gives me notice if they decide to sell it as I'd definitely consider buying it back.

Tim and Crush, You're exactly right as I got an email back from BAT and they stated that they would love it if I wanted to post it without a reserve. Nah, no thanks. Maybe it'll sell on here, you never know.
