Default '67 Corvette Coupe, #s 427-400hp/4-sp, Loaded

Cool car with air, PW, tilt/tele, etc. Looks like this one was originally Sunfire Yellow and resprayed black during the restoration.

----Really late production 67. Almost exactly the same options as my 67, except white leather wasn't an option in 67, so this beauty has one more option than mine. What an unusual 67 this would have been if still the original yellow. Beautiful as a black Vette, but a bit sad about the color change...Bill S

How does the color change devalue this car or any vette for that matter? Just curious.
Thx

----In this case I really can't make a realistic comment. The car is gorgeous as is, and yet it isn't as delivered. My guess would be that it wouldn't make a huge difference, as some heavy hitter that loved black and saddle would pay, maybe, more for the black saddle combo as it is very cool. But what do I know? Black and saddle leather is also very rare. Would be cool if the car came black saddle, but it! didn't. A headscratcher for sure. My vote (which means nothing) is yellow and saddle!

----Since I didn't (apparently I'm brain dead) didn't bother to look at the trim tag, and now realize that this 67 actually came with black standard interior/yellow exterior. Can't say what difference this makes, except that now both the color and the gut don't match. That heavy hitter probably won't care, but there might be a day when there are two guys willing to bid that don't care. Who knows?....Bill S

I think it hurts the value pretty severly. Yellow is a love or hate it color (I love it and have a yellow 67). Along with the interior color change, it will be a tough hill to climb to get to his number. If it were yellow/black, it would be achievable.

That’s a big number for a color & gut swap. Some ingenious auction wording and run number placement, in addition to an open bar for bidders might help get the job done on this one. My guess is that emotion will trump education here.
