I have some serious plans for time behind the wheel of this car. With the 340hp and 4.11's, it is a F'n hoot to drive. Tom was able to get on the transmission right away and it sounds like he has the needed NOS parts in stock for it. The new clutch should be here tomorrow, and I can get that down to the machine shop to resurface the flywheel / balance the assembly.

Love it Tim. Great score and we're excited for your to enjoy some miles with it.
Nothing like a 340hp SBC with manual trans and 4.10s!!

Here is a progress pic from removing the undercoating. I am doing the trans tunnel, as so much of it won't accessible for dry ice blasting once it's all together. As you can see, there is a bunch of tedious removal yet to go.

I should have the transmission back tomorrow, and hopefully the clutch and flywheel by the end of the week.

----There must be a reason to undercoat a fiberglass car. Guessing to protect the frame, etc., but what a pain. Feel for yah! All that stuff on the shifter assembly couldn't have helped any attempt at any kind of speed shifting....Bill S
