Dwayne, Yenko was a Chevy dealer so he did sell 1968 Chevelles but I never heard of a 1968 Yenko Chevelle with a 427 and Yenko stripes.

No 1968 Chevelles!! Only 99, 1969 Chevelles were produced with the Yenko package.

Dwayne,
The 1969 year was the year for the COPO Yenko Chevelle. I think that you have a very interesting question though. If Don Yenko built '68 427 Camaros why wouldn't he build a few '68 Chevelles? Dick Harrell did. A '68 Chevelle would have been a conversion car (if they were to have been built). I have always thought that Chevelles made excellent platforms for a musclecars/racecars. Chevelles (while heavier) did not require subframe connectors or chassis stiffeners, and came with 4-wheel coil springs. I don't think (in theory) that it would be hard to imagine Don Yenko building conversion Chevelles. Anybody care to add? Dwayne I don't think that if there were any '68 Yenko Chevelles built that they would have be equipped with the decals that you see on a '69. '68 Yenko Camaros did not have the decal kits that the '69s did.
Andrew
