I have been reading that book and it is GREAT! The author had some cooperation from Susie Stricker(Dave Strickler's widow, Ammon R. Smith's granddaughter, both of Old Reliable fame) and is friends with Larry Brinkley (Larry owns one of Strickler's '62 Bubbletops). I highly recommend this book. Look for the picture of Strickler's B/FX Impala. I have never seen another photo of it.

The book is awsome. Great color pictures of all the various styles of wheels used during the era.
Check out the Chevelle on page 136 for a view of the original style E T brand wheels. The style looks just like the ones they produce today. |

Hi Marlin,
Thanks for the post, it is nice to have been missed. I lost my best friend to cancer over the holidays and I have been kind of "out of it". I have missed posting and talking with everyone and I am looking foward to posting again now. Andrew |

Andrew;
My sincere condolence's on the loss of your friend, I know how difficult that is. Good to see your back on the board. You probably recognize some of the cars pictured in the Super Stock book, good reading. Will you be at the York US30 show?? M [Edited by YENKO DEUCE REGISTRY (01-31-2002 at 01:16 PM).]
