Day Two '69 Camaro pics

Some ask what a Day Two car should look like. This '69 (from a 20+ year old Car Craft feature)is what I consider the epitomey of a '70's style street machine. I still find myself every so often going back to the pics of this car. Cragars (15x8 deep dish rear with L60-15 tires, 14x6 front), Lakewood bars, Gauges on the cowl and around the steering column, Car sits right (nice rake, raised 2" in front). I especially like the white painted headers. Reminds me of a burnished brown '69 Z that had the headers painted white that ran around in my hometown. You could see the headers when the car was driving down the street. I always thought it looked cool against the brown paint and black undercarriage.

Did the blue '69 have 15x4's on the front? Man I remember so many cars set up like these.

These were taken late summer 1980 right after an engine swap for a 13:1 327 .I bought the car in november 1979. Also installed 4:88 pro gear. Had a tunnelram and vertigate for it but never installed. When purchased the car had 15x4 and 15x10 reversed cragar ss with M/H wrinklewall slicks. electric feulpump in trunk.S/W greenlines in dash. old lakewood tracbars. Delco airshocks and long shackles. barrel-lock hoodpins. acell dualpoint and coil. BBC with headers and thrush. Car is a 9737 copo. original dealer unknown. Tim.

Alright Ken S., what are you waiting for?! This is your topic. Ken just finished his red deuce. It is red with white stripes, cragars, traction bars, headers, etc. It looks very era correct. If I knew how to post pics I would! It will be at the Gibb show this coming week-end.
