Does he still have the ZL1? I still see his name on the COPO connection site next to ZL1 #18. I really love the vintage poloroids of the COPO! The car was only 1-3 weeks old and already had an after market tach on the steering coloum and a set of what looks like aluminum slots. Interesting how their is no 427 with the 425 horse decal on the air cleaner. Only the "rear" at the top of the cowl induction air cleaner. I usually see this on the ZL1 cars that have been restored but not COPO's. What is the real deal? I just love those day 2 street machienes!! Vintage pics are the best they tell no lies! I got the ZL1 from him in a trade. I gave him that COPO, the Hurst Sunshine Special, the Blue JL8 RS Z and money for the ZL1 that was torn apart.
