Phil: Heater Delete, or was heater removed at any time prior to your purchase in 99?

Hi Charley. Thanks again for your help on the L78 rag. whitez: The car is not a heater delete nor does it appear to have had the heater removed at any time.

I have a '69 L88, Green/Tan Coupe, that was originally sold by Dan Santa Chevrolet in Plattsburgh, NY. Does anyone live nearby or have a "car guy" contact in that area?
Thanks,
Paul

I have a copy of a tank sticker from a silver/black leather '68 L88 Coupe that shows "EXPORT PREPARATION" on it. It also states "SHIP PACIFIC MOTOR TRUCKING".
Would that designation be for any car leaving the US to any destination, including Canada?
Is there a way to tell from the tank sticker what the destination might have been?
Just curious???
Charlie

There was also a 69 gold coupe in Nova Scotia. Mechanic friend at Gm bought it new and two years later traded it for a 67 R series 427 Ford ( must have been a weak moment). Ford was rolled two years later but we have proof it is being restored somewhere in NY when a guy called just a few years ago wondering if he could get some history on the car. He ended up getting some extra 427 ford parts which he was trilled to locate. It was only a few months ago I asked Jack if he ever knew what happened to the vet. He says it is still in Nova Scotia with the motor and trans ( it was a 4 spd)under the bench and the car in pieces but very restorable.Been like that for 20 years but not for sale of course.
