Probably some code from an engine rebuilding company. Someoone probably took it in as a core.

my 69 z28 has a similar code on it. it is a numbers matching motor. this shouldnt decrease the value of my car at all should it? would my z28 be equal in value to a numbers matching z28 without the code? is there anyway i can remove this code without disturbing the engine assembly stamp? any info would be great. thanks! tommy
