Vintage Yenko Nova picture
We got this picture emailed to us from Bryan Festa. In his email he writes:
Hello, My father when he was my age used to own and race a Yenko Nova. He loved the car and wishes to this day that he never had to get rid of it. I was able to find a picture of his car and I have scanned it in. I was wondering if you would be nice enough to post this on your page. Any details or questions that you have please let me know. Myself also being an auto enthusiast would be happy to answer questions and see his car at least live on-line again. So, anyone recognize the car? |

Re: Vintage Yenko Nova picture
It Looks blue, but then all the red has faded fromthe snap shot.
What years did his dad own the car? What city and state? Maybe the VIN could be tracked through the bureau of registration for that state... -Sam

Cool picture! I love the look of the cars stance with the Cragers & tractionn bars. It looks like he has a garter belt hanging from the rear view mirror.

Re: Vintage Yenko Nova picture
There was at least one Fathom Blue Deuce sold in NJ out of Wallace Chevrolet, it was a 4 speed car.
I have requested title searches through the NJDMV and receive no information. That does not mean the cars are not still in the Garden State because I requested a title search for the Cortez Silver Deuce that was on ebay and that request came back "no information". As we know that car was in New Jersey.

Re: Vintage Yenko Nova picture
I believe the owner's name is Bob Festa,Middleton, NJ? I have spoken to him once or twice about a hood tach. I believe the car was sold out of Wallace Chev. was a Blue 4speed without power steering, the 50th car produced and was asigned stock number YS-008. The car has not been found to my knowledge. It is possible that it might be the green a/t, but not according to my notes.
Very cool pic! Thanks for posting!
