Default Any western Pa. Guys remember this car?

This was a 427 Chevelle named 'Super Sunkist' raced by the Dudzinski Brothers from Belle Vernon. They were my neigbors. Growing up, I idolized this car and it shaped my interests in Chevrolets forever! This car was just plain BAD! It wasn't licensed, but they would cruise around the neigborhood for tuning purposes. The local school provided a nice place for launch testing! This car is currently in a garage in Monongahela Pa supposedly awaiting a restoration.

Was that Chevelle one of the COPOs? or was it just an SS with an owner transplant?

Do you know what drag strips they ran at? I spent a lot of time at PID and Keystone. I don't remember this car?

It was a dealer installed engine in 396/375 set up. Don't remember the dealers name but it was in Monesson Pa.

They raced almost exclusily at Keystone and Pittsburgh from 69 through about 77 with the same car. It looked much different and cleaner as time went on. I don't have a picture of the cars later years, but here's another shot of it.
Notice the Wince Prepared sticker on the fender. Did anyone know Wince?

I called a friend who lives in Belle Vernon and works in Monesson Pa. He tells me the Chev dealer at that time was John L. Gibson Chevrolet in Monesson.

Gibson! That's it! Thanks. Who's your friend in Belle Vernon? Maybe I know him.
