Car looks and sounds legit, I've known about this one for a couple of years.
Pilot / pre-production cars were sometimes months ahead, so the date isn't a surprise. They were proving out the tooling, assembly process, and the parts. Some GM paperwork shows the first cars were shipped out in June (to support durability testing), which also supports the date. Too bad the motor is gone, but I'm real curious what the #'s are, since somewhere they are 'on file'. Hopefully the new owner shows up on one of the boards. Be curious how early the trans and axle are. Neat car, esp that top guide, but kinda steep for a car that needs work. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
