Very cool, wish I could see that action!
One quick question, they show Pete Simpson lining up agains a 69 nova that they say is a COPO? I thought there were no COPO novas other than the 50 1968 L78/th400 cars. So what could this COPO 69 nova be?

So what could this COPO 69 nova be? [/ QUOTE ] This would be a misprint! Jimmy did race my 1970 COPO Nova for years, and when he painted his SS 396 car (shown here) I always joked it was a wannabe. People still get them mixed up to this day. He sold his a month ago, so that won't happen again. Thanks for taking the time to post the pix Rob! I appreciate it! Peter

Oh, okay. Nice job, and nice car Mr. Simpson. I like to see someone that has nice cars, and does not have a major fear for using them for what they were made. I loved that article in Muscle Car Review with the Camaro, Chevelle, and LT-1 Nova.
ps I love the last name, douh!
