I'd like to update this thread as it's been over a year and
I have gathered new info to add to the mix. First of all, it has recently been documented by Jerry MacNeish as an L72 Camaro ordered new by Malcolm Konner Chevrolet in Paramus, NJ. The rear axle in the vehicle is the original housing installed by the Norwood plant in June 1969. I am still seeking information regarding the history, including prior ownership of this car. It has come to my attention that it may have been raced anywhere from Atco, Englishtown, Island Raceway and/or Lebanon Raceway. The original engine was located around the Albany, New York area, after being separated from the car for a period of time. The car was originally dusk blue and at some point, it was painted white prior to its dashing brown 70's paint job. The right front fender was replaced, at some point, so maybe someone knows someone who could have done work on this car. It also appears the car was run in either a Super Stock or a Stock Eliminator Class. Any and all leads appreciated. Thanks! Elon
