Ok no one with the car emailed so here it is. Block is a 395272 with date D22 and the front pad says T0423JK with the vin down by oil filter. The heads are bare and are 3931063 with date codes D21 and D22. The crank is a forged steel 6223 and i have all rods and pistons although pistons need replaced. I also have the intake 3931067 dated D22. The great thing about this engine is no front pad vin. I will trade for a 175 amp mig welder or sell for 750.00. Thanks for the AD

So the block was stamped as a complete running assembly only one day after it was cast?

Yes the block was stamped one day after build. The deck has never been cut and the bore is a standard bore.

Sometimes, especially with small blocks, it seems like they were almost built when they were still warm. There are cases of engines cast early in the day and being built later the same day on a late shift. The casting date and build date are the same day.
