Default Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins

OK, time to pick your brains. I just acquired some magazines from the late 60's/early 70's; In here I am finding several ad's with Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins. Some of them are full page ad's (like this one from Fram) and others are smaller (say 4 1/2" x 5"). Are these considered sought after? If so what type of value do they hold. Trying to determine if I should try adn sell them or just hold on to them for the 'conversation piece' factor.

Check what you have, with current or past sales for same mags on ebay. It all depends what is in the mag. Also search under Grumps various names, Bill Grumpy Grumps etc etc

Actually I was referring just to the ad's. Most of the magazines (all except one in fact) are in rough shape, which is why I strip them of the muscle car ad's and articles. It's just ironic that out the four new magazines I have several ad's of various shapes and sizes with Grumpy ad's.

They are probably more valuable to keep in your collection and look at them because they are cool.

I would say not of much value. There are many magazines with those adds in them. If you want, you can color copy some of them on good copy paper or poster type paper and try to get 20.00 on e-bay for them. I think the Fred Gibb add out of Drag World went for about 100.00 a week or so ago from a very good copy. Just a thought.

Anyone ever see the 17x22 Bill Jenkins fold up piece that was handed out when "The Grump" toured Chevrolet dealerships in 67? It features his 67 Camaro. Wonder what it's value is. I've never seen one for sale.
