As I understand it, these cars were built fairly quick so that they could be drag raced in the new factory automatic's class, but does anyone have a "guesstimation" (an engineering term) of the time frame the 50 cars were built in? I don't suppose they rolled off the assembly lines one right after another?

Tommy K's 396 Harrell tuned car actually had a 427 in it. THe block was a 454 block, but the crank was a 427, no special balancer or flywheel. That engine was built by an engine shop in LA, and will be installed in a particular Rallye Green, '69 SS Nova L78, M20, 3.55 Posi - can you guess who's

Kim, thanks again. I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for '68 Nova's dated the first and second week of july at the races this year.
