Jude,
I think you have just succeeded in making his short list. You know he has biker chapters all over the country and all he has to do is make a phone call. Take a look at his Ebay feed back.A real Goof Ball. ez*matt

I don't get it.
Over 330 trades & it all goes for a s%&t in a month.
It takes a long time to get that feedback, especially when so few bother leaving it.
There's something we don't know goin' on with Motown.
Whatever it is I hope he gets it together, sound like the wheels are coming off

April/May was about the time that Matt started having his health problems wasn't it? Maybe that explains the drop off in responsiveness....

After I paid for the wheels (7/26) I got this msg on July 27th. "Got the check AOK. Thanks. I dropped the wheels off at the local tire shop to have the old tires broken down off them, I should have them back this afternoon and shipped tomorrow. Thanks again. Matt"
I've attempted to contact via email & by phone without results. If the wheels show up or if tracking info is given to me so I can recover the property I'll apologise or do whatever I can to make things right again. I posted this so that others might use caution when buying parts from others without seeing the parts first.

I think something may have happened to Matt. I know he was dealing with some serious problems. He may be slow at times, but I do not believe he would rip you off.

[/ QUOTE ] I think it was more like March when his doctor dropped the bomb.... Jude, I received the same stuff you did: an email that said that he got the money and the items will ship the next day???? Plus I called all the numbers that I could find from him and all were disconnected or no longer in servive... Finally one day the PONY EXPRESS showed up at my door three months later.. I think the riders horse died on the trip and had to walk on foot the rest of the way to my house... Hang in there bud, they should show up... Mark

I hate to say it, but if someone's going to say it'll be shipped in a few days time and they don't bother, for whatever reason, for three months, then they shouldn't be selling it in the first place. Otherwise, at least they should make it clear.

Apparently, this is not the first time it's happened and it's not okay to leave people waiting that long without any word. It's pretty easy and quick to pick up the phone, even if you don't often log online. Be it you receive the parts months late or not, I'd still be (rightfully) pissed.

If this person is unfortunate enough to have severe health problems, then I'm truly sorry to hear that, but this sounds like it was an issue prior to that. I don't think anyone owes someone an apology if they get their parts months late, though it would be good to let people know that it was just really late, rather than not at all.

I don't mean to sound like I don't appreciate the potential problems a major health problem can create in someone's life, but that you should be able to at least answer your phone or call someone, unless it's _really_ bad. And, it's horrible if that's the case, but again, this has obviously happened to several people and not just recently, so I don't think it is due to the health problems.

Hopefully you'll get what you paid for, but I don't believe you have any reason to apologize for being pissed off. It's not only the lack of the item you pay for, it's the feeling of being taken, or someone ignoring you and leaving you wondering.

I don't have to explain how frustrating that is. If he _finally_ gets your parts to you, unless he has a really good reason, I'd hold off on the apology--it should be the other way around. If people don't want to have posts like this about them, they better treat others with more respect and not screw around. Otherwise, this is the result and it's only expected!
