I told Benny that everybody has seen his car in its factory original condition. I am trying to convince him that taking it to Day-2 would be fun and interesting. The car was in drag racing form very early in its life. A set of headers, slapper bars, fiberglass flex fan, vintage drag slicks, Cragars or Ansens with the skinnies up front, and a steering column tach would do it! Come on Benny, it is the nature of your BEAST! What do you guys think???

Frank, You have NO problems. All the parts are basically bolt ons. Only real expense is the headers and exhaust. I would take your whole exhaust off and replace it with headers and a less expensive exhaust system. Then everything would stay intact. Manifolds, smog and complete system. Just store it away. I have everything for my Z/28 in the attic. Fortunately the original and second owner of Bennys car put everything in the corner for 35 years. That is a story in itself. Just think how bad you will beat Marlin with a few mods to your deuce! Whoops, I may be in trouble now.
