Default Belmont

Hey Group; New Guy Here; I have a Wheelspin News from February 1969 with an interview by Dizzy Dean Murray (publisher), Lance Hill and Dave McKay (Belmont Hi Po Sales Manager). Hill and McKay mention the COPO Camaros on order. Also, in the same issue Maurice Carter Chev in Hamilton Ontario has an ad for 427 Camaros and Chevelles. The ad states "order now for March delivery". ......Bill

Even though Beare Motors ordered our cars in early calendar year '69, they never came through until July and August as did a lot of the other Canadian COPO cars.

Locally there is a '69 L78 Chevelle convertible with a Maurice Carter Chev emblem on the trunk lid. Has the GM of Canada documentation as well.

Ok, here it goes. The Maurice Carter ad is in two parts because of the scan size. Unfortunatey I haven't figured out how to crop these together and put into a smaller format. (any suggestions appreciated).
